OK peeps
all the advice given is obvious ( sexual/friendships)
How about something different for a change.
Who knows of simple diets that work for real & do not cost silly money for eyebrow foods & subscriptions?

"Eat less, move more...
Cut out the CRAP (caffeine, refined sugars, alcohol, processed foods)"
Look at my profile if you want to see the results of doing this.
(but I moderate the CRAP to stay like this) |

"Juice diet killed me had carb cravings like you wouldn't believe.
The advice above is simple and effective. "
Not getting into a big bad debate but do you not see the penalty in this type of diet being, that as soon as you go back to eating any kind of carbs; your body will not be used to processing them and just bloat on the intake. Cutting carbs is one of the worst you can do as it effectively stops you being able to efficiently store/process sugars. I would honestly say to not cut carbs out of your diet for this simple reason. You will have to re-introduce them in such small and moderated quantities to have your body get used to them again or you will just swell through the natural function of your metabolism. |

Look at portion sizes and constitution of your meal. Load your plate with salad/veg first, then proteins then carbs. I would recommend reducing your carbs dramatically and try and switch out highly processed or starchy carbs. A good example is using root veg rather than regular potatoes. I eat really well, but I still come in at around £2-3 per main meal. Also try using spices rather than salt.
Exercise helps too. Muscle burns energy at a much higher rate than fat.
Whatever you do, it needs to be maintainable as crash diets never work as your body loves a thing called homeostasis. So (for example) a harsh cutting diet for a beach body (no carbs before marbs!) Is great until you get there and get pissed and have your first chips and kebab..your body will try and hang on to every bit and store it as fat |

Research evidence shows that combined diet changes with exercise is much more successful for long term sustained weight loss, than either diet or exercise alone.
You can lose weight by diets amy number of ways - but is it important for you to keep the weight off?
Diets frequently encourage yo-yo dieting, where you cycle from high to not so high weight. And then repeat ad nauseam. It's not good for your health to live like that.
Some people don't care - they may just 'need' to be x pounds lighter by a certain date and not have a long term plan. Sometimes for a holiday, a shag meet, a need to wear a certain clothing piece etc.
Have slows, more moderated weight loss, whilst increasing your exercise levels. Set achievable goals that are reviewed and are smaller overall than the cumulative loss you'd like. Achieving 3 pounds in 4 weeks is more heartening than aiming to lose 30 stones in several months.
And health club advice is to avoid signing a long term contract, if you're not already active.
Good luck! |

smaller plate, drink more water.
I lost 19 stone over 5 years - no magic diet. Ate less, do more. I don't cut anything out - but keep things in moderation.
Drink water or weak tea now rather than fizzy pop. Drink a half pint to a pint of water 30 minutes before meals to check I am hungry and not thirsty. It really does help. |
