Sainsburys 'taste the difference' range. My mate had some and I didn't realise until we finished it and I saw the bottle. Look it up

Must disagree in this case bought some Ballycastle from Aldi to feed my habit not quite the same taste and only 14.5% v Baileys 17.%??

North Bristol

If buying imitation Baileys, check the label. A lot of them are made with fortified wine instead of whisky which doesn't taste anywhere near the same. If it's made with whisky, you're onto a winner

I bought the £4 Aldi equivalent of baileys last year and it tasted the same to me. Apparently their salted caramel one is nice too.

No I don't agree. I've tasted cheaper imitation versions and they seem watered down, not as creamy and certainly lack the taste of Baileys.

We picked up a 70cl bottle of Honey Jack Daniels for £15 last night at Tesco.

Yum!.

Got the taste for that at the after Gay Pride party in a pub full of lesbians in York, the day after the naked bike ride.

That was a great weekend!

Not necessarily, people are brand snobs! They see cheaper as a less quality product.

If you look at it from the other way if the cheaper ones weren't as good they wouldn't sell so they'd stop making it

Really? I'm a big fan of Terry's chocolate orange, orange matchsticks etc, so I'm hoping I will like it.

What xmas movies??

Not true - there are penny punchers who know its inferior but to cheap to buy the real product or don't value the real product enough to pay for it

Same thing with Burberry scarfs and hats a few years ago
