Passed away today.

I loved Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver.

Two great bands and one helluva voice. He certainly had his demons. It's a shame.

No cause of death yet. He was found in bed on his tour bus just before he was due on stage.

I'd guess it was drink/drugs related though. Poor guy never shook his demons.

Given his history that's the most likely outcome. Another tragic loss.

Absolutely gutted. Never saw STP but was lucky to see VR 3 times. The guy was one of the best.

Saw VR live about 10 years ago and 'Fall to pieces' still resonates with me- listened to it only Wednesday.
