any single slim women (size 14 and under) in the north west? cant see many on search, so thought i would ask on here

I don't know why anyone would get offended, he is entitled to be attracted to whoever he wants.

I think maybe this is in the wrong thread sector, hence the virtual pulling up of chairs and digitised popcorn......i would be quite amusing if folk were that sad that they were actually pulling up real chairs and having real popcorn while avidly watching this post though

he's been clear it's a personal preference and no offence to anyone else! No slagging or slating of anyone - I can't see the issue to be honest

I never get all the daft popcorn and similar comments. It's like they are willing the thread to turn into a shit storm.

As a bigger girl I'm in no way offended by this post and don't see why there's a bombardment of people trying to stir up trouble for this.

I think the filters should have more options too.

OP, there aren't that many single women on the site, period. Asking for a single woman of a specific size and in a specific region will be difficult.

I recommend clubs and socials or that you convince yourself that you'd really enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the UK. It's a lovely place, with lovely people.

At 5'2" I can definitely say that at size 14 and weighing 12 stone I was most definitely not slim!

This is going to be one of those threads that's held up when people say you can't express a preference for slim women without people getting butthurt and offended. NO ONE IS OFFENDED, people are just presuming it's going to kick off and then it becomes almost inevitable.

Agree in one sense as in people are entitled to preference.. but to use forums as a filtering mechanism is not ideal.. ie people reading this and if your under size 14 please apply.

Just comfortable with my gender. Not remotely offended that the OP has stated a preference for a gender different to mine. And I don't take it to mean that he is dissing males or suggesting that females are better than males; just that female is his preference for sex.

Everyone finds themselves attracted to traits in different people. At the end of the day "attraction" is subjective to that individual surely? As a very curvy size 16 I'm certainly not offended by the OP's post....likewise nor do I sit eating cake whilst grinning at the "Wow how amazing are BBW threads" lol

And in my experience men really have very little idea of how sizes work.

Some people prefer curvy...some thin....it's life....surely there should be more to attraction that body shape...or maybe I'm old fashioned

It may help if you specified a height as well. Someone my height who is a size 14 (as I am) may still be too podgy to be your type since we carry our size 14 bodies on a squatter frame. I am only speaking for my own chubbiness, not anyone else's chub or lack thereof.

I was thinking that. I'm 5ft 8 and when I was a size 14 I was plump at the least. Slim when I was a 10/12. Sizes are so deceptive.

Except in this one, no one called anyone a bag of bones and no BBW were actually offended. Most people said that the OP was welcome to his preference. People just assumed that's what would happen, which in itself is pretty offensive.

I didn't say this one did, as I didn't read the whole thread, but plenty of comments stating the usual, popcorn, good luck with this one, pulls up a chair and people stating size 14 wasn't slim, I just stated or asked why a slim thread is normally seen as derogatory or highjacked in this way....that is all, I now know never to bother with these types of threads no matter what angle they are being posted from. This is not directed at the poster I have quoted just the thread in general

I think it depends on how the opening post is worded. The OP in this one wasn't rude about those he's not attracted to, he merely stated his preference which is why all those popcorn and pulling up chair posts were totally unwarranted.

exactly. Not sure how your sizes different from here in the states, but I am a size 6/8, and I wouldn't describe myself as slim. Tis all in the eye of the beholder and where your tatste lies! I, myself, am a fan of fellas who are a fan of womanly curves.

In the US I'm a 4. In the UK, I'm anywhere from an 8 to a 12 depending on the shop.
