My Brother Omar

My brother went to Timbuktu

He took his friend too

They went looking for oil

We from home could feel their toil

Then there was this campaign

To inflict as much possible pain

The oil is now splashed out of yield

And oh my brother Omar remains in the oil field!

There was a man named Omar.

Who went for a drive in his car.

Despite all the toil.

He ran out of oil.

And had to wait for the AA man from afar.

Therapeutic this poetry lark
