I think a lot depends on how you come across and interact with people as well as who you choose to interact with. I've never found anyone that I've chatted to that just wanted a quickie in Aldi car park.

What put me off several women was their outwardness for buddy relationships.
My buddy relationships developed over time. It was a case of meet, leave it for a few weeks, message again and meet up - some women or couples only wanted it as a one night affair.
The women / couples that I met on a regular basis became fiends due to time. and then more regular daily meets and trust was built up as a result.
I was put off women wanting immediate buddy relationships (as attractive as they were) simply because I had just met them and straight after sex they were inviting me to clubs or nights out with mates - or phoning me up to pick them up. Buddies are built on time and trust as neither one of you knows the other. |

My fuck buddy relationships are completely different from what a lot describe on the forum. I can go months without talking to mine. We aren't answerable to each other we just have awesome sex now and then without the need to be part of each others lives. Many seem to want so much more. That doesn't sit well with me and the fuck buddy relationship. |

I have to say both mine came óot of the blue the bestie I've known going on over 3 yrs and I'd never refer to him as a fuck buddy as for me he's one of my best friends first N foremost who happens to be an amazing lover and then there's my new friend with benefits hoping for lots of debauchery N boundaries broken together.All I can say for me I didn't go looking for them but I do say on my profile I like reg meets so I guess these two actually read a profile.

I think it's a question of what you're after. The various distinctions that people are making fall into different categories to me.
1; the fb, the person you meet occasionally because the sex is good
2; the fwb, someone whom you enjoy meeting socially, have a bond with and alongside that good sex too. |

finding a fuck buddy is much the same as finding a new partner, it has to build over time, I'm pretty sure if I met someone and then instantly thought I was going going to be his FB he would probably run a mile in her opposite direction, you meet a few times, you see how you gel together, then you just go with the flow. No relationship, regardless of what label is attached to it is instant x |

My ex problem is now sorted (ish) so I can get back on the bike again. Trouble is, its been that long and im getting picky . I miss cuddles and sex but dont really want an endless list of quick fucks - im worth better than that. Any suggestions other than just bite the bullet as twere? |
