I received my first proper proper abusive message.

If I report it, what is the process? Is it worth it?

Always report admin may get more reports about the same person and could escalate things!

If admin don't know about these things they can't act on them . So yes in my opinion worth reporting , not reporting just let's the person continue doing the same thing to goodness know how many others . Admin will view the report and take what ever action deemed appropriate .

I've certainly no complaints when I've reported messages or threads in forum .

If someone is sending you abusive messages then you should report it to Admin, they do look at every report. It's not acceptable to be abusive either on the forums or in PM.
