Inspi_ed by some nice threads about people having found love on here and about living with a partner, I wanted to start a thread that makes it less hard being a single, on days where you'd rather not be one.
Things you can enjoy equally whether single or not:
- Tugging in to fresh bed linen,
- The smell of of a just-mowed lawn,

"Starfishing...that's right I said starfish. Love the feeling of spreading out and taking all the bed up, only benefit of being single in bed.
And rolling onto the cold side in summer"

Duvet wars. Wanting to punch her mother/father/fucking kids. Listening to her endless complaints about others. Enduring her visiting friends talking non stop bollocks. I only ever chose the good looking ones I wanted to shag but always the same old bollocks. How I love fresh air. |

I sleep on the very left side of my double bed , which I love sharing with the right person but sometimes on very cold nights I wish I had something more comforting than my hottie wotty x |

"Control of the TV remote.
As a guy, never having to watch any soaps, strictly, 'reality' or any thing with celebrity in the title."
I don't watch any of the crap you are stereotyping as woman's viewing. ... |

I started a couple of threads on this subject about 3 yrs ago, it would be nice to see if anybody's attitude toward this has changed. I know mine hasn't

ugh... Hate the label single...
We are all born into this world single, so it has no meaning to be so...
But...
The ability to just by a plane ticket and disappear for a year or two.
To not have to pretend to be enjoying a conversation you wish was over.
To use your time to constantly train and improve your abilities.
Silence.
Those could all be flipped as reasons to enjoy being part of a couple.
But some animals are solitary... Like tigers and some need company.... Like sheep... |

Things I enjoy about living on my own most of the time:
- living on my own most of the time.
- not having anyone else under my feet.
- having the freedom to do what I want, when I want.
- not having to think about what someone else wants.
- getting to shag who I want, when I want, in my own bed. |

Not saying these are female viewing. Just what my ex enjoyed. Also what all the ladies I work with talk about. I admit this is a small sample. |

So what you're saying is, you are a tiger and those of us in relationships are sheep?
Winning! |

"Some people say their freedom is something they like about heing single.
I'm not single but i still have my freedom and can do what i want when i want "
That's totally the benefit of non-monogamy. :D
Multiple partners... different choices... and yet still my own bedroom. :D |

Unfortunately having a 4 year old means I do have to get up to see to some one else and nothing is ever in the right place! |
