I've not done one of these in years! So why don't we have one, fab style! Put your name down here and I'll pm you the name of someone on the thread once it's full.

Once in receipt of your victims identity you contact them announcing your 'santaship' and you arrange how to send them a gift! Nothing over £10 please folks

Let's spread a bit of Christmas cheer

Jenni did a thread on this a little while ago, there were concerns about sharing addresses etc but maybe it's a goer now we're in December ... Or maybe a virtual secret Santa could work over PM or email or something?

Anyway - if it's through the post then good luck but I'm out!

I see some small flaws in your plan.

If I send the person a message to say I'm sending you a gift, it's not very secret is it.

Also, how many people will want to give an address out to people they might not know?

Maybe if it was someone whom everyone was comfortable with sending their personal details. For example, Courtney, Diamondsmiles, Dirtygirl.......it could work. But it would be a massive undertaking for who ever took it on.

Disclaimer...........I was not putting you guys up for public vote, just examples of people I would trust who sprang to mind

The secret is in the pot luck aspect of it and the nature of the gift received. On other internet forums secret Santa's follow this method.

In terms of where to send the gift to there are many options, it doesn't have to be to a home address, it could be delivered to care of

Draw names is a good app for this - you just input email addresses & it sorts the rest out.

I've already got 2 secret Santas on the go

Snap. Apart from giving your address to a total stranger whi your not gonna meet (rather not) theres also the fact that you dont know for sure youll get anything in return so may just end up £10 out of pocket. After all the most told lie in the world is "your cheques in the post" closely followed by "of course I wont cum in your mouth"

I'm not sure to whom you're referring but I think it's more about logistics than anything else. I'm a single woman, living alone. It makes no sense to give my home address out to strangers on the internet. It doesn't make me a lowlife or unappreciative of something nice. It's just not quite as simple as you want it to be.

Lowlifes? Bit harsh fella. I gave my reasons for not personally joining and also the general consensus from the previous thread but wished you all the best and did nothing to preclude anyone else - can't really see that as lowlife activity but each to their own like!

Am I the only person who thought he meant "lowlifes" to be the people who would use personal data for bad purposes? I could be wrong, but I don't think he was calling people on the thread lowlifes....
