I've just been for a look for a new suit seeing as I wear one for work everyday. Now I like a modern looking suit. Skinny trouser and a fitted jacket. All good. However, today I've seen a brown checked almost tartan style suit made from a woolen type tish fabric. I'll be honest I did a double take when I saw it. It wasn't the best.
So, here's the million dollar question. Do ultra modern suits look okay on a 30 something or should I stick to the old faithful grey or blue suits? |

It doesn't matter what the style is as long as it suits you (haha) and is tailored - if you buy off the peg, have it adjusted to fit, and choose the ties and shirts and shoes to go with it. Many men make the mistake of buying a suit and not bothering with the whole look. The t look is more country than town. |

A t suit is great addition to any winter wardrobe, couple that with some brown hevy brogue style shoe and deep coloured sock. Not that I'm Gol Wang or any thing |

I usually mess with 7's & 8's but when I wear the suit...9's & 10's become fair game!
Go with the neutral navy/dark well fitted number, easier to match the shirt/tie combo |

A deer stalker is wholly appropriate for any occasion, possibly accentuated with a vintage ivory pipe for emphasising a point or giving off an air of authority. |

Charity shops are full of suits that were briefly in fashion and now look laughable and can't be sold. Stick to a well cut trad suit that is a really good fit. It makes you look richer and more successful. And don't buy the crappy blue that estate agents have taken to wearing. |
