"Will Jeremy Corbyn last as leader of Labour until the next General Election ?

probably or probably not unless his own team decide to usurp his leadership off him forcefully and end up kicking him out with a pie in the face and stab in the back treatment then probably yes.. |

" He cannot unite his own party let alone unite the country.
The media will also do a great job in slaughtering him |

There will be that halfwit along in a minute saying Corbyn is descended from the God of socialism and all Tories are trembling in their boots in the red glow of him. |

corbyn might even start having premonitions off his betrayal before hand from one of his own team but their faces are blurred in his dream's and the only thing he can see is a group of them stabbing him with a sharp object...
which can only then be interpreted from his sub concious that his days are numbered also the sharp object is a metaphor of some sense.. |

I hope so...
What's coming up in the way of oncoming electoral hurdles?
* London mayor
* Council elections
?
Things like that will be the test of whether the actual Labour party will stand by him or give the reins back to the 'professional' politicians, rather than this well-meaning peacenik.
Hope so. |

I hope he stays the way he dealt with those photographers today!
He was so passive aggressive!!! He's a despot waiting to come out
In all seriousness he's come along at the wrong time. He would run Utopia very well though. The world is just not ready. |

Unfortunately, I don't think he will be either.
The Labour Party will revert to the neo-liberal Tory-lite party they've been for years but will continue to hemorrhage members, and the poor and vulnerable of this country will be abandoned to their Dickensian fates. Scotland will go, as will Europe probably, the far right extremists at Ukip will rise umchallenged and then we can all wallow in the no holds barred dog-eat-dog horror that results.
Have fun |

Given you're rather overly dramatic predictions.
"Take him out" in what way exactly? |

I was being trolling out of boredom, but given you're tendencies to follow me around on the forums and be up my arse half the time if I post something does not seem to surprise me...

As a nation, we demand democracy whilst remaining largely passive and rarely opposing our leaders' decisions which, in the main, are not made for our communal good but for theirs.
We like people to make our decisions for us but would never admit it and they'd never admit they do it because that would show the faux democracy for what it is.
This situation has been exaggerated by the use of the media to manipulate the populace and spin stories so that they offer consensus appeal whilst offering minority benefits.
That's not new news as such, but it did become more apparent during the rise of New Labour and today continues to move politics away from party lines and into a cult of personality.
As such, Corbyn will not last, not because he is a poor politician, not because he isn't a good man, but because he is not a modern politician.
Good intention just isn't enough when you are capturing hearts and minds these days.
It's a shame. |

What lol?
As far as I'm aware we've only ever spoken once and that was in the "why don't people meet Asian men" thread and I didn't even think we particularly disagreed.

okay fine I just some times in the past got a bit annoyed if you posted something sarcastic towards me..
doesn't matter anyway I'm in a bit of a shit mood today, the corbyn over dramatic trolling I was talking about was some made up crap about how he would be disposed by his own party members who seem to be against him in a betrayal way kind of like Game of thrones or some other type of medieval way and compared some of them to judas for the lulz... |

purges? hmmm well I guess the snakes in politics will always try to purge each other one way or another...
who knows maybe some of his own will even try flogging/shaming him before tying him up and kicking him off the plank and dumping him into the ocean before saying "for the labour" |

Read animal farm for a view on communist utopia
Until we breed humans that are neither lazy or ambitious , communist utopia will also always end up dog eat dog
I have 14 employees all on the same wages
One is bread line using pay day lenders
Another is rather comfortable
The difference, their view and approaches to living their lives

I think he'll last longer than many imagine. He's very popular in the Labour Party, less popular in the parliamentary party but they no longer decide who the leader is.

He has been round a long time and knows the shits he has to deal with - he is laying traps all over the place in the LP and outside and the more thick ones are walking into them.
Also doing well forcing the party to rethink it's Blairite policies. |

So people still want the conservatives in power even after they've used shocking tactics to block a bill that would have meant the Nhs would have access to generic forms of drugs. This would mean drugs that have a proven track record of saving life's would have become cost effective to the Nhs. The same tactic they used to talk the bill reducing parking charges in hospitals to carers out of parliament. Also surely you must have noticed how upset they were that the lords blocked their tax credits cuts. So much so that they intend to make changes to tbe house of lords to ensure never happens again. Put another what it means is they want to change the goal posts. They have made some great policies yes but also some really shitty one's. Unfortunately we have no credible opposition so expect yet more cuts to major government departments and the privatisation of more public services for a cheap knock down price. Remember the royal mail anyone? |
