Most definitely, a family member of mine had it, thankfully caught early. Look up the symptoms guys and if concerned get checked out asap.

Have you ever talked to a young person dying of cancer?

can't say I have clem but I imagine it's not a very pleasant experience, however I have had quite a few family members suffer from cancer...

some where lucky enough to survive through chemo therapy or surgery, others not so much and iv'e seen the side effects first hand and what it does to them physically and mentally.

I've met 2. One was my sister. At no point did either of them say " fuck it we all got to go some day..". If anyone tries to offer advice to avoid dying from this evil disease, take it.

I see, I hope you're sister recovered and beat the illness and if not my sincerest condolences..

also if you read what I first wrote in this thread I said if I Was unlucky enough meaning if nothing could be done i.e. chemo or surgery to help me then realistically that is the way it would be, I would be terrified yes if I was in that position..

and yes I would take the advice of the OP, however at this moment off time I thankfully have no illness/allergies or condition or on any medication thankfully....if any symptoms appear then I'll hop two down to the clinic double time.

This made me smile and I know it shouldn't! It's easy to be blasé about dancing with the devil when you're 23 and in good health. Enjoy it whilst you can sir!

I had my dance last year with him. Not through cancer but another illness. And I'm only 44. I' don't mind admitting I was shit scared.

Enjoy your health and treat it like the most precious gift you have.

I'm happy you beat whatever illness was effecting you mate, I also admitted to clem that I would be terrified too if I was unlucky enough to get prostate cancer and there was nothing they could do to help then I would have to realistically accept the inevitable..
