Can't see the problem myself
If he had of gone to the meet Friday after finding a partner he's have been a cheating bastard
You can't win
Surely if he has found what he's looking for cancelling all meets is the decent and right thing to do? |

" i'd be relieved .im sure your life will be better having not met him "
Indeed
How dare anyone find someone they want a relationship with!
They should all be at the constant beck and call of us horny folk. |

"I'd be more pissed off if he hadn't txt'd to cancel... The poor bloke was damned from the start, whatever he did, he'd end up being the topic on a thread "
There might be another thread on another site saying "met the most fantasic man ever, love at first sight were getting married next week"

"Tell him it's a shame he's missed out on the great sex and it's a shame that you can't say the same about him.
Yeah , bitchy I know
C...
Why? What's the point in that... Seriously! " because it sounded funny |

C..." why would you be bitchy, what has he done wrong?
Oh cancelled on a woman by giving her plenty of notice. If it is because he has met someone maybe he should of sneaked around cheating on a new relationship.
I do seriously wonder more and more aboit people.

Pretty pathetic more than bitchy. Why not just wish him well in life. |

"Shock horror......a meet gets cancelled.....by a man
Flipping 'eck. The cheek of the guy. "
[Sarcasm mode engaged] Flippin eck.. I was amazed that he let the OP know instead of just leaving her hanging as is the want of soooo many single guys[/sarcasm] |

More likely posting something to gage a reaction rather than actually meaning it possibly... |

But it's not funny. It doesn't even make sense for a start.
It's a shame he missed out on great sex (ok)
And it's a shame you can't say the same about him (eh? Say what?) |

"It's a comment empathising with the OP
Get a sense of humour"
What if it had been a guy moaning about being dumped??? Jeez no wonder some guys find it a battle
Hats off to him and I wish him well |

It seems a quick turnaround to me from phoning and looking forward to meeting the OP to straight away apparently having found all they need and being out of the game, but some people do throw themselves head first into relationships so that could be what's happened. At least he let you know in time to arrange something else with your day. On to the next
(Yes, I'd say the same to a man , do we need to caveat everything with that now?) |

Someone cancelled a week in advance?
Polite and decent thing to do if he's met someone.
Not really understanding why you think you've been dumped OP... or indeed why you felt the need to post a thread on a different site talking about someone having good manners... or is this one of those positive 'single men can be decent' threads? |

Yes, but please abbreviate it to, "say the STAM" (that does not mean, surface to air missile) |

I thought it was a single woman being maybe a little possessive and having a ridiculous sense of entitlement thread! |

At least he let you know!
And via txt was probably the least awkward way of saying that he couldn't or no longer wanted to meet. |

Seems to me those seeking relationships will naturally prioritise that over NSA and also potential better matches to what they seek. Having a meet cancelled with that much notice is very reasonable in my opinion and unsurprising. When I was interested in meeting it happened a few times with much shorter notice. C'est la vie! |

"Got a meet with a guy on Friday.
Only planned it yesterday
When is the wedding?
The Friday after
Wanna be a bridesmaid? "
Would have loved to but I think that is when he is meeting me |
