Which word do you find most derogatory for a husband/wife/partner? For me it's when women are called 'the Mrs' as though sfe doesn't have an identity of her own. |

a relative used to call his wife 'me tart'..
was in the 70's but even then it sat badly..
thing is many couples have terms of endearment particular to them which other's may or will find strange..
