How good is your memory

I think I have a pretty good memory as far as meets go unless it's club meets.
But twice in a few months I've had guys message me saying they enjoyed meeting me and mentioning things in general they would only know if they had been to my house.
So for the second time I've been sat here racking my brains only to find out I haven't even met them from this site but from other sites I've been on over 12 years ago.
Could you honestly remember someone you met once all that time ago?

I have no memory. I use my phone to set reminders of where I am supposed to be and when. I use notes for everything and look at another profile to see what events im attending 
I don't usually give out my user names, it saves trying to work out who is who and from where  |

I remember everyone I've had sex with, dated, or just made out with. Then again I remember car number plates, people's phone numbers and addresses from my childhood and youth. My head is just full of useless information as well as some good stuff. However I can't for the life of me remember why I am stood at the fridge with the door open or where I left my keys or wallet |

My memory is really good for names, facts and events which is useful for things like exams and studying. But I find it very difficult to recall faces and often don't recognise someone, which can be a bit embarrassing. |

For certain things I've an exceptional memory. Visual things, concepts, and abstract things I'm very good at working with and remembering. Names and dates... Awful! |

I remember them if they contact me or if I see them again but really if I haven't seen them for some time I don't recall or think about them and never would.
It's their contact that jogs the memory.
It's not age or senility it's just ..... christ .... who sits thinking about people they met once or even twice ? |

I've a photographic memory for facts and trivia, but nigh on useless for names, faces and 'simple' instructions. In short, I am best wheeled out for pub quizzes, but a total liability for much else. However, I do come with whoopee cushion in hand bag, so it balances out. |

I may remember them from over 12 years ago but some people do change a lot in that time frame. Younger people especially so, where their bodies often fill out an awful lot - the 28 inch waists long gone, more muscle packed on etc. And faces will often change drastically.
I can remember some people over much longer time periods and others I'd struggle to recall.
If I'd had a very memorable sexual experience, I would probably find that the memory of it and the person would be more indelibly stored. But all memories get distorted over time as the become new memories, each time we remember them they become new memories and can thus be distorted.
Mediocre partners or experiences I tend to forget the detail, except that it was poor. |

Marc and I can remember every one of our meets. I can remember their faces, certainly. That's what I am best at. We can both remember their fab names. but, if you asked me to remember all of their real names? Good luck. I'd be lucky if I got the first letter right unless we've met more than once.
