I've always liked being short although only having a 25 in leg is a bugger sometimes.
But I was watching on the trains today.
There's not much space for your legs and I know planes are the same.
What do you all do with your legs and also what downsides is there to being tall as I've never thought about it before. |

One downside of being tall is hitting your head on doorframes in old cottages. Was everyone short in olden days? |

I'm not particularly tall but do have quite long legs... Planes and trains are a pain... Have to keep moving.
As a teenager finding nice trousers long enough and at a price I was willing to pay was a nuisance.
I think I have about a 31 or 32 inch inside leg.
On the plus side it means that they look slimmer than they are

I don't even have particularly long legs (I'm all body and stumpy legs) but yes all forms of public transport, theatres etc are a right pain. My 6'4 husband and 6'5 brother and dad have to practically fold themselves in half to fit into plane seats.
Other things I don't like about being tall: Being taller than all the men. Not being able to wear high heels without feeling like a giant. Having huge feet and big hands. Standing out when I don't want to; when I'd rather blend into the background. It's not particularly feminine. Clothes being too short - tall ranges are usually just focused on leg length but my issue is with body length.
I would actually love to lose about 3 or 4 inches in height. |

Do you have really long fingers? I have massive hands hence why I have always had false nails to make them more feminine |

I cant wear real gold bracelets cos of my massive wrists. But I have 2 beautiful real gold/diamond bangles that fit. They are a wide oval shape, rather than round, and fit beautifully. So try some on... Its down to the shape.. I want one if those Swarovski crystal tube bracelets but they are small or medium as they are aimed at Asia far east customers. I share your pain. Evans jewellery for cheap bracelets.. Def bigger fit! |
