Go out and look for another job ,go on holiday , decorate your home, go Xmas shopping , cook loads and ill the freezer, clean the bathroom/kitchen..There is loads to do

Got a new job, start in the new year.
Moving to a new house soon.
Do most of the Christmas shopping online |

A friend of mine was fortunate enough to be put on 6-months gardening leave a couple of years back.
He had grand plans of which he was irritatingly smug about - build an extention, start a hobby business, volunteer locally ..... but none of these things happened. Mostly he just watched Homes Under the Hammer in his pants and was a depressed wreck by the end of it |

I did 3 months garden leave the other summer.
Had time to catch up with family and friends
Started my new job then got made reduduant 10 months later
The grass ain't always greener. |
