I saw it on a cartoon once."

Maybe if I tie him to a tree for a couple of days he can fight all the cats and settle things?
On a serious note he's not happy he used to go out all night every night in the old house. He just looks out the window now. |

Don't hate me, but he's done.
Friends who've moved with pets say their never the same.
One cat jumped out the window
One cat got run over
One just never came home
Our dog never played on the garden even though it was 3 times the size.
Just think he'll spend his days inside xx |

Maybe you should think twice next time you think of getting a cat. The Dog is wishing He tried harder to get along with the cats and realises the garden is far to big with nothing to chase. ...Maybe. |

Maybe I should kill one of these northern cats and put it on a spike as a warning to any other cats. |

It's dead easy. Send him out to the chippy for a chip barm with scraps and gravy. He'll come back calling everyone our kid and with a swagger that is bordering on ridiculous. All the other cats will think he's one of the norvan cats. Job done.
Glad to have been of service! |

Go and knock on all the doors where the bully cats live and tell their owners,if he comes back with one more scratch you'll punch their lights out. Sort your cat out or I will! Have your cat under your arm looking scared and innocent. |

This is just the way it is and maybe he was never a tough guy but all those around him down south were just a bunch of shandy-drinking-soft-shite-fairies.
This is the way it is and he better get used to it.
It could also be the weather. I know humans who behave in much the same way when they come up North. |

Because he's a cat and he didn't asked to be moved and you have a duty of care. If you can't be bothered to care for him sympathetically then get the blue cross to find him a home with someone who can. |

Haha what a surprise some people taking things a bit to seriously on the forums and blowing it out of proportion.
The cat has always been a outdoor cat, he's clearly not happy here but there's not much we can do about moving house. Trying to get him to go out is just tough love. Mentioning the blue cross is just ridiculous, he's very much loved and would be in a worse position than he is now.
The thread wasn't intended to get serious, chill out I've got better things to do than argue about a cat you know nothing about. |

My cats was the same .
Whenever a different cat goes in your garden physically chase it out
Cats understand territory and will eventually associate your garden with a mental human living there rather a mummy's boy of a cAt
Now my cat wil
Go in my garden only but At least its out
No cats were harms except for mine which had 4 visits to the vets with cat attack related injuries

Fine, well perhaps you'd back off the macho posturing then, I do not find it the slightest bit amusing in regard to dependant animals and their welfare, especially on a week when that poor little dog was beaten and set on fire and left for dead.
Just have a little patience with the poor thing a let him have a bloody litter tray. Sheesh, it's not much to ask..... |

Macho posturing haha. Don't take things so seriously, life's too short! The cats loved so chill out.
Your talking to someone that spent a year doing animal conservation in Peru, I'm a animal lover like the rest of my family. Why even mention a dog that was set on fire, How is that relevant in any way.
He has a cat tray
The only way he will be happy is when he goes outside and doesn't get hassle from other cats.

Exactly, we have had the cat for 8 years and he's had a great life and we know when he's acting out of character. He will be much happier when he sorts out his problem with other cats and can go outside again.
Unfortunately for him he won't sort this out by laying on the sofa. |

You need to go out and mark the territory I had to chase the cats away myself they used to sit looking through the window for the cat and when it ventures out the cats used to chase it away from its own home
The cats in the area all avoid me and my place now they run past and leave my cat alone
Just chase the cats away cats undetstand territory and keep away from mental humans
Perhaps your wussy cat can sit with my wussy cat and discuss flowers and poems |

It might just take a bit longer to settle in. My cats swapped personalities (one is hard as nails, one is a proper wimp) for a while after I moved house but they started getting back to normal after about 6 months |
