Can someone please tell me how do you get black and white photos with a special item in colour. For example where it's just your underwear in colour and everything else is black and white. I love those photos. Is it an app or...?

We use Photoshop.

Use a photo editing suite, there are several which are free to download. Grey out the rest of the photo and intensify the item. Photoscape is a decent free one.

Easiest way is to layer two copies of the picture, black and white on top. Then just delete the bit where you want to expose below.

There's an app for iPhone and iPad called Color Effects that works well
