So some smart arse kid has solved a Rubik's cube in under 5 seconds.
Yeah, there's plenty of tutorials on how to do it. But when I was a kid, the tried and tested method was to peel the stickers off
I have never solved it in over 30 years.
Has anyone solved it.... Without looking at the T'internet? |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Learnt as a kid.
As an adult, then moved on to the other sizes. - 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7.
Not a record breaker though. Standard one takes couple o minutes, big one takes about 6 hours (so have only bothered twice). |

When it first came out there was no internet so we had to solve it ourselves. Learning shared moves from school friends seemed to work. At the time I could easily do it in under a minute but probably forgotten now. Frome memory there was only about three moves you need to know to put any square into another. |

Once by accident. I was just trying to do one side and when I did I realised Id done them all. Most times Id pop it apart and rebuild it. I had a rubic hexagon to, you had to get it back in the right shape aswell as get the colours back. That fucker was impossible. |
