I'm seeing more and more statuses of people moaning that they are going to leave coz of...in there words... 'Time wasters' and 'non genuine bi girls'. And this one has only been here 6 days!!! There was another a few days back... 'Deleting this today' who had only been here 11 hours lol
I think a lot of people join here expecting to just snap there fingers and get what they want.
On my very first day of joining a different site many moons ago I was chatting to someone who said some very wise words...

I think there is a complete lack of understanding on the part of men as to what a woman's experience of a site like this is. There are 10 men or more for every lady, and the ladies are often inundated with messages...often no more than one line of text (or txt) and adorned with a poor quality photo of a cock.
Whereas men seem to expect the women to be falling at their feet begging for it.

My worst was my old profile when I accepted messages. I remember trying the polite thanks but no thanks response instead of just deleting and got the why not reply, said not my type and then he said something like it's a sex site you want sex so just do it once and if you still don't like me you don't have to meet me again!

If I get a "no thanks" I usually respond by saying "thank you for your polite reply. Happy swinging"
Though I did make a silly mistake recently. I got a "no thanks, if you read my profile you would have seen I don't mess with married men".
Now the ladies profile actually says she won't see married men unless their wives know. My wife knows and approves, so I responded saying that I accepted her decision not to chat but that she might have forgotten the wording of her profile.

I joined the site with no expectations at all because then I could not be disappointed most guys join because they think swinger site in 2 hrs of joining I will have more offers than I know what do with and already had a meet it never ceases to amaze me how people act on here some expect to put less effort in than they would meeting somebody in a local pub or club and to me that's completely the wrong attitude then complain when the meets don't come rolling in |

Most single guys struggle through no fault but there own. If they want to send shit messages then be prepared for a shit time. If they are going to completely ignore what people do or don't want then the only expecting they need yo do is to get deleted.
A guy messaged me the other day. Droning on about how he sends nice messages and they just get deleted. Or women chat then don't want to know him when something better comes along. I suggested he tried a club or social so people get to see him in the flesh. He got angry, sent quite a angry reply. I tried again explaining from a woman's view what we like/want.

we get replies from people almost sounding apologetic that they cant meet straight away - then when we explain no rush etc can almost hear the sigh of relief - chat to them about it and say some people really put the pressure on to meet - i know theres a live for the moment but sheesh |

Penis pictures and crude messages do work for some guys and that's a fact so you don't speak for all women.
As the Op said, a lot of people join Fab expecting to get what they want. I would very much include women in that category. You say you didn't join Fab to receive crude messages, however you dress that up its an expectation. There's nothing wrong with having a degree of expectation.
Some adapt, others don't. They'll always be guys who complain about not getting enough meets, they'll always be women who complain about getting the 'wrong' type of messages.
Both have expectations, don't blame the expectation, blame the way they adapt. |
