Roth WAS the greatest in my opinion. Nowadays I wouldn't go to see him 'sing' down my local for free!

The last tour with Van Halen was an utterly joke - he was appalling.

It wasn't just the musicianship, the voice or the songwriting, Mercury had the charisma and stage presence, he really knew how to work a crowd

I was lucky enough to see them at Wembley in '86... What a show

yes he planned to kill himself on stage at halloween but went for the easy and less messy option in the end

I think its personal preference, ive seen queen, rolling stones pink Floyd, they all great, and I don't think theres many new groups that will stand test of time, rolling stones Glastonbury, queen are isle of wight next year, not all original band but the show goes on
