I'm a self confessed geek and love finding people who share this so I ask where are all the geeks at?

More importantly where are the hot lady geeks?

So far - a Gryffindor, the First Doctor as part of a femme Doctor group, warrior Cinderella, Leela from Futurama, Sgt Angua from the Discworld novels, Sweetpea from Sucker Punch, Thor, the Winter Soldier and the Riddler.

I haven't been on that forum since then either, I've had no love for them since my David tenant photoshoot; apparently my eyes didn't look right and Malcolm wasn't happy with it, so off I went after they wrote over (my perfectly good photo) to have my photo retaken and my eyes photo shopped in!! Had to wait months for it to come back

Wasn't until it came back and they looked at it they thought it didn't look right apparently but my eyes are a bit wonky in photos sometimes they didn't actually think to ask me first!!! What if I actually had a medical problem with my eyes?! I would have felt very offended!!

had anyone seen the video of uber geekiness today - the guy doing Rubik's cube in less than 5 seconds?

I love the way he played dumbo for a few seconds - like he'd never seen one before.

Then put it down, almost in disgust - to kick off the timer , then flew through it.

That's real geekiness.

No specs though - how strange!

I first read Lord of the Rings when I was 11 and have reread it most years since.

I love BSG, Buffy, Firefly, Dr Who, Marvel and DC films (was never bothered with comics), Pratchett, Frank Herbert......
