Yes a couple of times, last time is when I had an accident with a motorcyclist who was speeding on the wrong side of the road past stationary tratfic and I hit them in my car  |

I rang because there was a domestic going on in a flat near mine. There was a child inside so I rang. It wasn't your normal everyday argument. Loads of police cars and a riot van turned up. I had to go to work so missed most of what happened but apparently they both came out covered in blood.
I was pretty pissed off that some neighbours didn't want to get involved so didn't ring but did stand around waiting to see what happened, even though they had children they should have been taking to school. Tossers  |

yes - once for ambulance for a flat mate who fell onto a glass table and a huge piece of glass embedded into her leg - against my say so she pulled it out and it opened up and bled and bled -
and police - junkheads smashing down the door in during the early hours and breaking in to rob stuff - pre xmas and v scary |

We've got loads of spineless nosies round here too. Wanting to get all the juicy details.
Funny that none of them could tell what kind of car hit mine? 
& that the police couldnt locate who was driving as they'd "been to his address at 2.30am & nobody answered"!!

I have a few times but I could probably count them on one hand.
I was told by a paramedic that if you ring from a landline then use 999 but if you ring from a mobile (so for a road traffic accident) use 112 as it is easier for them to locate you than if you ring 999. Not sure how that works but it seems good advice. |

Yes only the once though. Late night an idiot careered across the road at speed, crashing into my parked car. Police came out (eventually), and apart from being able to tell them the colour of the car and direction it went (it was reversing from my vehicle when we looked out the window, but was then off at speed) they gave a crime number for my insurance |

Yeah in 2001back when I was with my ex, his car had been stolen! We'd spent about 3 weeks with a Haynes manual outside his house stripping this blue nova SR that had nicer seats and other bits and bobs and tinted windows and putting all the stuff in his red nova sr, even doing jobs between is that had 4 spammers for difficulty, the last day the car was complete, woke up next morning for him to drop me home on his way to work and the car wasn't there. He was like maybe my father has moved it round the back of the house, I run round the back and no car! Was a sad day! We were only 18! If anyone ever saw a red nova sr registration

I feel your pain. My car was written off, i didn't know at the time but, mine turned out to be one of only 17 ever registered in the uk with that spec in that colour! Gutted was an understatement!

Yes, for myself when I slipped and dislocated and fractured my ankle in 3 places a few years ago. All I was doing was taking my little man to footy trials!!! Bloody wet grass!!! It's a killer I tell u!!  |

Yes, I witnessed a horrific motorcycle accident around some country lanes on the way home from work once, guy going way too fast around a wet corner and lost control. I was first on the scene and thought he was dead, luckily he turned out to be ok! |

Only once. Saw a 9 yr old boy playing chicken across the dual carriage way get run over.
It was pissing down
I held an umbrella over him until the emergency services arrived
Thankfully just a few broken bones |
