Had mine in October (smear) got borderline changes again in March was on yearly checks but they changed me back in to 6 monthly checks.
So back in for them to do a colposcopy tomorrow morning.
I guess I'm getting used to the knickers down legs open ouch now!!!

all the best OP, best you can do is go and have the check done and over with and try to remain positive...
I've known a few cancer survivors in my life time who were thankfully saved by the chemo therapy then their check ups most likely came back negative and thankfully all was good..
I hope the results from the check up are good and not bad for you. |

none the less I wish you all the best and a full recovery most off all OP, the chunk removal part as painful as it must have been I suppose is better then receiving chemotherapy as you won't have all those toxic chemicals in you're system or suffer the side effects off it. |

"I actually only had 2 days off work with it..and was in the gym after 5...looking back it may not have been the best idea... "
yeah maybe a few weeks out of the gym would have been more beneficial tbh thenidan,
point is be more careful and take care of yourself and that report better come back as negative on any left over signs of cancer in you're system. |

"Bugger...got to have another appointment after Christmas. ..
Ahh wanky bollocks!! Are they just testing more?"
Doctor wants a second opinion from the senior consultant who is off. Its not bad, just slightly worrying that they think it warrants a second look... |

Big hugs, I'm sure they are just wanting to be thorough with the results etc, if they were really worried they would be getting you back in a lot sooner than after Christmas. Any chance they can bump up the appointment so your not sitting worrying about it? Xx |

Yeah, I should just reassure yourself that they're being extra thorough to be sure you're staying clear, I'm sure it's all fine! |

Try to think of it as not bad news but that they take cancer care very seriously and they are just being thorough |
