Whats the cost of sexual addiction?...I won`t hold my breath for replies lol..ain`t being disengenious , just curious if its discussed ....possibly might o been ....wouldn`t surprise me!! |

absolutely Bertie ...a ill written soliquoy of mine.....suggest a more befitting alternative!!! ......one could assume theres a cost to ones relationship to yourself and family ?..x |

A pediliction is a choice or a leaning towards, an addiction is a constant need for something that you must have and don't care about the consequenses

risk taking can lead to all sorts of problems , when under the spell of an overwhelming desire to act out esp to families......there are some similarities of patterns of behaviour and emotions to the erm ...afflicted !!!...but yes ...depending on the individual and their prediliction the consequences may alter ...an emotional detachment mayhaps? .....i`m playing devils advocate ..x |

I had a pal who was unable to steer clear of prostitutes .....he was osessed wth the idea of someone new ...`the brighter pebble on the beach`....spent literally thousands on them ..there was always the next pebble!!!!..trying to fill this emptiness he held .....at the expense of his family ...the secret he held , ended up with him suffering , as he couldnt relax, or interact properly with his wife.....she picked up on it , as lovers do..his self worth plummeted to lower than a snakes belly .....he was anything but fullfilled emotionally Bertie .....tho I agree tis wonderful when I connect with my partner ...almost a spiritual experience ....

Addiction is a word thats saying your out of control despite consequences off obsession and consumed because there minds are so preoccupied by these thoughts so other areas of their life can get neglected like children, family, partner, job , money. home all sorts of ways .... lots of resons why people become like this can be unhappy in normal life ... can be bored all sorts of resons ..... looking to escape normal every day life so 100s of resons and the cost can be so high even a life.

taking a second look I think I have to differ soapy, in that the purpose of food is to support and sustain life and the purpose of sex is to produce another life form. Each individual has an idea on the purpose of life, but no one really knows, do they?
