Often if they go missing they are very close by, though won't respond to your calls. They lay low, after a shock, and come out once they recover.
It's a terrible thing for us owners. Mine disappeared for a week or so. And my neighbors cat, that comes in every day, disappeared in the summer. He was locked in a neighbors house, and they'd gone on holiday.
Your cat may hear you but won't come - it could just take a few days for a stressful situation etc to be recovered from. |
