It seems counterintuitive - except if you'd deleted the wink in error. Could be the start of a perpetual motion wink event.

Yeah! That's what I thought! Strangely enough, if you delete the wink, I think it is also removed from the history thingy on the persons profile that shows who messaged/winked who and when.
So now I don't delete winks, just like I don't delete friend invites.

i think theres a time limit.... i generally dont delete unwanted winks or friend requests to stop them sending again..... but after a while i seem to get them again.
some people are serial offenders, taking the hint isn't some people strong point |

Just tried a little experiment with the Mrs, I can wink her profile after she has deleted previous said wink, but she can't wink me back even though my wink box is empty, obviously more research required. |
