That's the sign on the the stairs in Halifax train station.
When I see someone walk towards me, because they are walking on the right, it really winds me up.
I think this is what they call a Very British Problem lol |

Holy crap! Yes!! This is my major annoyance in life. I just stay on the left and bang into anyone who is in my way. I always did it in NY (especially with tourists), but on the right
I know it makes me a total bitch, but I also don't care.

If I was in charge one of the first things I'd do is impose a keep to the left rule, we manage it on the roads so why not the pavements.
I'd also invoke the right to challenge anyone in your way who was therefore walking on the right to a duel. |

I know you're joking, but I would completely support this.

It's not a joke
It's the same with merge in turn sections of the road, right, left, right, left.....
People seem to think it's cutting in if you're in the right lane. The amount of road rage I've seen from this is unreal.
If only people reacted like this to "queue jumpers" in supermarkets or other public areas
Of course it's just more British to tut loudly and avoid confrontation at all costs |

"Paint lines down the middle of the stairs, that way you can separate the up side from the down."
That doesn't matter. One side of the stairs says "PLEASE KEEP LEFT" and the other side says "NO ENTRY" |

"If I am in steel cage weighing two tons travelling at 40 plus I am bothered by people not following the rules of the road. On the pavement or escalator I step aside and tut loudly "

Are they down (or up) steps only? |
