I thought she was great, really grounded and funny, seems more mature than she used to be. And I'd forgotten how good her voice was.
She should sack her stylist tho! That dress was appalling. Shame as she looks great now she's lost some weight. She has a very beautiful face. |

as some know..I dont really have an interest in music...
I see passings really easily, robbie williams, amy winehouse, etc etc..I dont think there are truly any long term music acts that grab us..its a throwaway society, we want the newest thing..
even though adeles doing amazing , really high on album sales etc etc..I can only see quite a short lived career and interest
soon a cover of her cover will cover that cover and her name will be lost...
Sorry..I see it all as a non-music person..all I see are clones upon clones..diluted originality and maybe even really a hankering for retro...
*while I say I'm not a music person..it doesnt mean I have no 'taste'..but I do find some music snobs a bit weird...aggggaaadoo do do... |

She's already been around for 11 years, and that's without touring. That's not a bad start. |

Whilst her music isn't really my cup of tea, i think she will be around for a while - even if she falls out of fashion like ABBA did for a while, her songs will be around again because they seemed to have a strong emotional pull on people who buy her songs.
Saying that, i did wonder why the BBC basically gave her and her music company a hour free advert on the day her album was released. They would have to spend upwards of a million quid to get that much publicity on prime time tv. |
