I think so "
In truth, the Roman Empire had a lot of famous names, while the Huns, Vandals and Goths had no one of note. Roman society was corrupt and decadent (much like our own) and all of those names helped them not a jot. |

Here is what Chortle, the comedy industry news site has to say:
Anyone notice that Andrew Neill's opening rant about Islamic State on This Week last night bore a similarity to John Oliver's opening to Last Week Tonight on Sunday? Being an HBO show, few in the UK might have seen the original, but Jenny Eclair certainly did, and tweeted to Neill: 'This is a rip of the vastly superior John Oliver rant - sack your second hand script writers.' And when one blogger challenged her, saying it didn't matter, she hit back: 'The fact is he is taking credit for a second hand rant and as a writer I find it puke making - although I agree with sentiment'.

"He has a house in France.
But I don't take him seriously in any way, I think he's a knob with a hamster on his head.
It's easy to be tough from inside a TV studio. "
He's no knob, he's a good broadcaster who had the guts to say the words that our so called leaders should have said.
Well done, well said Andrew Neil !! |
