Got a batch of Christmas cakes to decorate. Some like marzipan, some don't. Some like icing, some don't.

So my question is......How do you like yours? Any tips also gratefully received as I usually have mine how I like my men......naked

Haha.....you're on fine form this morning ha. No one can say the word 'moist' out loud without someone smiling I'm in fear of the word being lost forever......must keep it alive.

Can't wait for Xmas cake or puddings. Never been a real fan of marzipan, it only ever seems to rear it's head at Xmas to punish us. X

It is a Christmas cake, it has to be marzipan and icing. It is rude not to have both.

Moist is a key word with any cake, I like fruit and walnuts, brandy, marzipan and icing, but only on the top, like it spicy too. This has got me wanting cake now. Mmmmmm.
