Yes I do bodybuilding and I am on a anabolic muscle mass diet where there first week is maintenance of 3000kcal then 2nd week you go to a superlow restriced calorie phase of 1600kcal then for 2 weeks you eat 4800kcal. So that is how every month is looking for me, love it |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I've recently been slacking so put on some weight. As dieting over Christmas is pointless I am cutting my calories for a while to get back down to a reasonable size, then will get back to the gym after the festive break. |

I'm on a perpetual diet and have been for about 30 years (classic yo yo syndrome). I'm currently 8st lighter than at my heaviest - have lost 4st this year. Still have another 3st to go (at least). I'm slacking and on a stall though because dieting and exercise doesn't have my full focus at the moment - there's just too much going on. I'll get back to it at some point - I always do

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I previously dieted down from a peak of 17st to just under 12st.
8 years later I was back up to 16st and the best part of a decade nearer paunchy middle age.
So I didn't go on another diet.
What I did do was make changes to eat healthier - salad for lunch every day, corn cakes and nuts as snacks.
I also started doing a little more exercise. Playing 5 a side, accepting every golf invite, etc etc.
That's been all of this year, and while I've "only" lost about a stone, it takes a lot longer to get out of breath during football.
The weight will take care of itself if I can increase the exercise further, now that my food habits are embedded.
How this helps OP, I'm not sure. Look at mee, I is less fat! |

I suppose I'm on a diet but I don't see it as such, it's more keeping aware of what and when I'm eating and sticking to a daily calorie limit (I also calculate net rather than gross exercise calories expended as part of that). So I've gradually lost just over 5 stone in 2 years. I've never been on a diet before, this was more of a lifestyle change. I've only lost 4lb this month but I have gone down yet another bra size so I'm losing inches as well. |

I want to lose inches and tone up. I used to go to the gym regularly almost everyday in fact and I'd do 4-5 Zumba sessions a week to keep my shape. If only I had as much time on my hands now as I did then |

25 sounds perfectly fine to me. 12 is an eminently safe dress size.
I would concentrate on maintaining the current level - plenty o people, me included, find that hard enough |

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire) |
I previously constantly dieted... ended up as a size 26 - was fine when I was keeping to the diet... but the minute I fell off the wagon, I fell into a trough. Noones fault but my own - I ended up very large, size 26, size 46/48GG, weighing just under 30 stone. I had a terrible relationship with food and alcohol.
start of 2010 - at my biggest, split up from my ex-husband, felt crap. Drank and comfort ate. Met someone who inadvertently gave me the kick up the arse I needed, telling me in bed one night that I was his moped shag - fun but he'd hate for his mates to know!
Next day, I binned the junk food, stopped with the fizzy juice, and switched to water, switched to a smaller dinner plate and started eating better. Also started doing a workout dvd at home with the support of a friend (she told me to get off my arse and exercise to feel less depressed) I had to work out at home in my jammies as I couldn't find gym clothes that big.
5 years on, I have lost 19 stone. I'm now a size 10/12 and do not diet. I don't count calories anymore, and eat what I want - within moderation, and also with a mind to my exercise and activity each day. I still drink a half pint to a pint of water about 30 minutes before each meal.
I will never diet again! |

Oh and I'm not on a diet, I eat what I want in moderation. I stay active and make exercise a priority. I don't weigh myself, the best way to evaluate yourself in my opinion is stand naked in front of a mirror. It's very easy to tell What you need to work on whether it be arms, chest, abs, back, legs, or more cardio in general. |

Since reaching my goal weight to be under 13 stone continuously I've upped my dairy intake from just skimmed milk in hot drinks and now eat quite a bit of fat free yoghurt and milk in general and I'm pretty sure that is the main reason I feel stronger in my overall wellbeing.
Previous to this I was getting a lot of dizziness and faintness and ultimately passing out and coming round sprawled out on the bathroom floor in the middle of the night.
I was just doing too much and not putting enough in even tho I was eating well I just wasnt covering all the bases. |
