So the porky fucker wants his own Camcorde.

It's not like it would be used for holidays. It's for the PM of the day, senior ministers and the royal family, and it's claimed it would be cheaper, and safer, than chartering flights. So why not. |

Exactly. It will probably save money in the end. But why let that get in the way of a good old anti Tory rant? |

First rational response. Seems sensible to me. And hopefully it won't get blown up, because even if you think he's a cunt he's someone's husband and the father of young children. Seems a nasty thing to hope for to me. |

Cool, more people to blow up in my twisted fantasy. |

Why wait until now to do it?
If it was gonna save money Osbourne would have suggested it in 2010.
It won't save money at all.
They are using the cover of 'security' as a way to getting President Dave his Camcorde. |

"Someone might blow it up while he's on it, with any luck.
You have now been put on a watch list. "
Been on one for years probably.
NASA, water, couple of key words there in case i'm not on it yet. |

I hate Corbyn but I'd never wish him to be blown up on an aeroplane. |

"But.......but, nicer politics, amirite?
It's the 'new politics' from those on the left apparently? Just looks like the same old shite to me. "
Maybe not quite the same. We've always had a bit of nastiness from the left but these days it seems to be getting worse.
Then again most of their icons from history have blood on their hands, Stalin, Guevara (a particularly nasty piece of shit) Castro, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao, the list could go on and on.
So maybe when they say they would like to blow someone up they really do mean it. |

"I read Esther McVey has been given a nice new Quango job, apparently she was the best candidate they could find
Despite his protests Cameron loves his pork, in more ways than one. "
Esther McVey probably has more class and decorum about her than to start insulting fellow ministers who could question her position, unlike Ken Livingstone did yesterday to a fellow Labour party member when he said they needed to go see a shrink (and it's the "new politics" from Labour apparently? ) |

For me at this moment the number one issue has to be security but that's not to say other things such as the economy aren't important.
I know I'll be sleeping better with Cameron running things than I would with Corbyn in charge. |

I hope Esther got to see a shrink, after all that blubbing she did over not being reelected. |

I really don't think there's any point.
If you look at what's happening in Syria right now, that is what will happen here anyway.
We can't stop anyone sending making bombs here if they're determined, or bombs here via aircraft. Even if we set off nuclear weapons then we're fucked coz we'll get that radiation.
All we've done is create a world where violence is acceptable and paranoia is rife because of it. |

Gotta laugh really, all the people who took a jokey comment about blowing up cameron, who is a perpatrator of violence, more seriously than all the children who died last week in Syria, because their living areas were blown up. |

I didn't know if it was meant seriously or not, that's why i asked. Never can tell here if people are joking or mean what they say !
I know many people say they hate DC (and other politicians) and i was curious as to whether they really meant it or not ! |

OP ! Am I reading this right and your complaining Cameron wants his own "Camcorde" !! Surely a hand held video recording device is harmless enough??
Unlike that antisemetic, Hamas supporting , ISIS tolerating , IRA sympathiser you were trying to defend on yesterday's thread |

Camcorde's are pretty retro now, pick one up pretty cheap on ebay, great for filming family weddings and holidays though. |

Jokes like that are twisted anyway, killing people isn't really that funny. I just feel if we didn't tolerate the real threats to societies then life would be a lot different.
I will keep my twisted humour in a very twisted world though. |

I completely accept that but the situation is that we have to our best to stop this and root these people out of our society and not just take the laxer approach that I get the feeling Corbyn would take.
I don't expect perfect results but I'd like to think everything that could be done was being done. |

I'm not an expert either.
I'm just wishing for something that psychopaths don't want. |

That's taking what i said out of context. Everyone was taking him more seriously than the crimes our leaders commit.
I really do not give a flying fuck about any of the war mongers amongst us, and yeah i probably would like to see them not exist in some way. I have friends living in these countries, and even if i didn't the people there still have the right to live somewhere safe, just like we do. |
