We spoke about swinging almost a decade ago and it simmered for a while until we spoke full on about it again a few years ago. I found FAB, told Mrs N and joined on her reccomendations, her words were "if we're going to do it we should just do it". The first meet was a whirlwind of first experiences then reflection, and it worked for us and not looked back.
I'd say it was me (him) that suggested it as I always wanted to know what she looked like having sex, impossible from the third person prspective so this works.
