I've just ordered my turkey for Christmas Day my parents were going away now they have decided they are coming to mine..... anyone want to keep me sane!?

Preparation chick- get it all prepped the day or two before, veg etc can be peeled and left covered in water. Buy stuffing, bread sauce, pigs in blankets ready prepped.

Its just like a Sunday roast really, but bigger.

If all else fails- provide plenty of wine! xx

I plan to do as little as possible it will be a good laugh I'm working Christmas Eve which is our Christmas as we have a danish Christmas so missing out on that...

Little tip for you. Pour your first drink while the Turkey is cooking. Keep drinking and by the time you eat you won't feel a thing

£30 for a turkey....I know if I shopped around I just ordered something pretty from marks and Spencer's

This is my mam's approach to Christmas dinner and it usually turns out ok

(Except the year she forgot the sausages and Christmas was RUINED )

I'm sure he'll love it xxx Just remember to cover the turkey in bacon & cook upside down so top stays moist (hate that word!!)

I got this big ball of Turkey thing and it's stuffed it looks quite cool...

I always place unsalted butter in between the skin and meat. If you go in slowly from the back end its not to bad but still a messy job.

Leaves the turkey really moist with a slight hint of butter.
