Teacakes that have mallow in them and come from the tunnocks factory are way better than teacakes with raisins in them lol |

Cob (Cob on): angry or pissed off
Roll: something you do down a hill
Bap: breast
Barm: small, round, floury bread. Normally white, but sometimes brown for the healthy people. |

"Barm cake, barm cake, barm cake, BARM CAKE!!!

I was merely reading out what was printed out on the label of a packet of circular, bread based products I purchased at a bakers shop. |

"Roll originally, cob is the word I now use though. Been up this way 20 years now. Had to adapt sometime "
I've been up in the Midlands and lived in Manchester and I still call it a roll. Causes many discussions being that Mr is a Yorkshireman. |

"It's a Cob...!!!
... and a crumpet should be called a Pickelet...!!!
"
Pikelets are thinner than crumpets. Taste the same, but they don't hold as much butter, so probably better for you. Hopefully. |
