Has anyone ever been

We have been trying to understand the seating plan as we going to a concert next year and wondered if anyine could help as in best places to sit etc

When I sang there,from my memory the orchestra was in the centre with seats in rows along the floor. There was a huge organ with pipes with seating around the walls,either side of the pipes and opposite were the balconies and Royal box. It's huge.

Great iconic venue, depends on what/who you're going to see - you can't go far wrong with the first tier up from the flat 'promenaders' section in the middle (to be avoided at all costs). Definitely one of my favourite places. Have fun. HHx

Just hope we get a good view and choose the right place to sit

Going to be murder finding a hotel close by too

Its a wonderful venue. You get pretty much what you pay for in there, better seats / standing generally cost more. I wouldn't worry about a hotel close by the south kensington tube is close by just get one in the centre.

We have never been so have no idea where to stay

Looking for somewhere to stay where we can leave the car safely and then perhaps travel somehow to the royal Albert hall

Any ideas would be appreciated
