I've had 2 more children in the last 5 years. Lost over 7st. It's time to think about a step up in my career once I go back to work from maternity leave.

5 years ago I had what I thought was the perfect life for me. Very happily married (well 1 of us was ), 2 great kids, lovely house, blah blah blah

1 year later it all started to fall apart.

Now I am the happiest I've been in 4 years. I've changed job, cut off the friends who either weren't actually friends, let me down or dragged me down, and joined fab. I've met some lovely people on here & am having a ball

Well this time 5 years ago I seriously fucked my life up, heavy drinking, affairs and god knows I let my kids down, so here I am five years later, I'm single (we did get back together after my affair but never the same), I don't live with my kids (I see them more now than I ever did at home, go figure that one out!) I'm out of the hell hole of a job that dragged me into the gutter, I'm best friends with my ex (again who knew we could be better friends than husband and wife!) I have a good social life with a good mix of people and I have something else in my life that gives me the freedom to something that is obviously in my blood. This.

So yeah I couldn't be further from what I was like five years ago and who knows what I will

Be in another five

5 years ago I was about to give birth to my second son and I was very happy with my life.

A year later memories of something absolutely horrific decided to resurface and I had a breakdown of epic proportions. It was always going to happen at some point and I've been slowly rebuilding myself. I was diagnosed with Aspergers and my marriage has ended, which has been very difficult but it all needed to happen.

I didn't see any future. I couldn't possibly see that far ahead. I guess I would have been getting pretty close to rock bottom around that time. To think I felt so worthless...those were dark days that I never want to revisit. It actually scares me a little thinking about that time. I don't like to look back. There's nothing back there.

Only my innate love of life and love of women kept me going. I've been given a few incredibly lucky breaks since then and it's allowed me to at least get back on my feet somewhat. I'm arguably happier now than I've ever been in my whole life. Which itself is quite scary because I don't actually have anything. No partner, no house, no money, no career (I have the shittiest job ever). But where I've been, those things don't mean anything any way. I'm now heading in the right direction. I now know what I want.

I've had a glimpse of the sun. I now want to feel its rays. Roll on the next five years!

Five years ago...

I split up with my ex even though I thought I would annoy him for the rest of his life.

I poured myself a drink, put on some lipstick and pulled myself together.

I've had a blast.

Do all good things have to come to an end?

5 years ago I was married (happily I thought) with a little boy and a highly paid senior job. Since then my marriage broke down and my company moved so I was made redundant. I lost everything in about a year. I never imagined I would be a single parent working for half the salary I used to and on something like this! But it's all been a huge learning and growing experience

"5 years ago I was married (happily I thought) with a little boy and a highly paid senior job. Since then my marriage broke down and my company moved so I was made redundant. I lost everything in about a year. I never imagined I would be a single parent working for half the salary I used to and on something like this! But it's all been a huge learning and growing experience "

All the best with it all

"I thought I would of had a child by now 5 years ago but hey ho just having fun and living life try on dwell on it all...my parents put so much pressure on me with having a child I know it's not intentional but just makes me think.

Can't you tell them to back off? I know they probably don't mean any harm but it's an awful lot of pressure to put on someone. "

Tend to just laugh and make a joke out of it. I have been so blessed and lucky with things in my life I just fail at love....so just decided not to look or worry it's like a weight has been lifted but still in the back of my mind

Five years ago I was in year 13 and about to fall into one of my worst relationships to date, with a psycho dealer manipulative dick who left me with an addiction and a shattered sense of self worth.

I was looking at universities, reluctantly looking at Spanish because I was doing best at that; being very promiscuous and putting myself through a lot a lot a lot of dangerous situations, but still keeping up with my school work. I was a ticking time bomb.

Five years from now I would like r have travelled a bit more, climbed the retail ladder a bit, maybe take a year out to do my masters (in what I'm not so sure anymore), with some stability and lovely people to share it with.
