Do people have any sounds in particular which make them feel drowsy or help them sleep?

I imagine this is pretty typical, but I've always liked the sound of rain, wind, the sea, which do other people enjoy?

I enjoy listening to my bedtime playlist when I'm alone, especially when I moved out for the first two weeks, drifting off to sleep with my tunes in my ears really helped

Its strange how lying next to someone watching TV on quiet is also very relaxing.

Rain, sea, purring cat. All pretty stereotypical too. Sometimes when I really can't sleep I'll put an album I know well on: because I know what's coming next in the song I'm not having to concentrate on listening to it.

No,I have to have silence for me to fall asleep, which is why I haven't had much sleep all night. The cat had been crying all night and now it's raining.

I like to go sleep while hubby is watching telli. I find it easier to drift off when there is some noise.

Rain on the window pane or hearing it pattering away on a tree.

My Dorset bulldog and Mastiff snoring is kind of reassuring as they guard the top of the stairs. But their snoring travels throughout the house it's a nice sound far away.

I love the sound of the wind blowing the leaves, and the sound of really heavy rain on the window. Makes me feel cosy and in a way sleepy I guess xx
