Do people have any sounds in particular which make them feel drowsy or help them sleep?
I imagine this is pretty typical, but I've always liked the sound of rain, wind, the sea, which do other people enjoy? |

I enjoy listening to my bedtime playlist when I'm alone, especially when I moved out for the first two weeks, drifting off to sleep with my tunes in my ears really helped |

Rain, sea, purring cat. All pretty stereotypical too. Sometimes when I really can't sleep I'll put an album I know well on: because I know what's coming next in the song I'm not having to concentrate on listening to it. |

No,I have to have silence for me to fall asleep, which is why I haven't had much sleep all night. The cat had been crying all night and now it's raining. |

Rain on the window pane or hearing it pattering away on a tree.
My Dorset bulldog and Mastiff snoring is kind of reassuring as they guard the top of the stairs. But their snoring travels throughout the house it's a nice sound far away. |
