I have 532 unchecked winks. Last time I went through them they were all from people hundreds of miles away, way out of my age pregerences, married etc. basically no one matching any of my preferences! So i dont even bother looking now! |

We look at our winks...but they are so hard to judge. Mostly it is just people who don't meet our profile preferences and seem to just be winking because they don't want to waste their time with a message.
Other times, people wink just because they like a profile or our pictures. I find this even more confusing, to be honest, because just winking doesn't tell me WHY you are winking....so if we like the person/people we wink back and then.....nothing.
So I am personally losing faith in the winking system. I would only wink back if I like what I see on a profile. And even that is becoming a stretch for me.

I don't really understand the wink thing. It just confuses me. I think it just means they like the look of my pics or profile. They'd message me if they were that interested.

when I first joined fab I used to get a bit excited at first when I got a wink/message if it was off a girl
....now not so much  , still reply to as many winks/messages as I can to see what's up regardless of what gender they are.. |

I'd never message someone who said they didn't meet single guys, or guys my age, but I might wink at them just in case they like what they see.
