Good Afternoon / evening Fabbers , Forumites and Friends
Goodness gracious me what a weekend it has been. Firstly Pooch and I would like to express our deepest sorrow and solidarity to the people for Paris. The things us humans are capable of baffles and warms the Pooch. Firstly such a pointless atrocity. A senseless waist of wonderful human life. Then the Inspiring resolution of the Citizens of Paris and the support from every nation of the world shows us , in the midst of horror people can come together. Our thoughts go out to everyone on this pale blue dot we call home. May you all live in peace and know love.
We have had a few sombre quiet walks this weekend. Pooch and I have talked at length of the beauty of the planet and all its inhabitants. Our thoughts as sad and grey as the leaden skies above us. We have reflected on life, friends past and present. The different things they have brought into our lives. We only focused on the good happy memories, positive thoughts of one friend who pooch and I both miss dearly but happy in the knowledge that they have found other people to fill their days with smiles, as have I.
So enough of the moaning, why can’t I get a meet, my this or that is too small or too big. The if only threads and the moaning threads. I know most of you chums never post things like that. You chaps make us grin daily.
So the question we are asking is
What make you feel good about being you?
Keep it classy, always a tad sassy but never ever trashy

I like me, I am acutely self aware so I know my strengths and my 'not so good points'. I endeavour to not make the same mistakes and I learn from them.
But overall, I am good person and that's enough for me. |

I like that I've retained a childlike curiosity and playfulness that many seem to lose in adulthood. I like how other people react to it, and how it brings the same out in them. |

I'm always happy and don't need affirmation from anyone to make me feel good ,I do however like good people and good people as do I compliment ,some people however let you down they promise and don't deliver but you just have to move on |

I like that I have a strong work ethic and that I try to encourage the same in my children. I'm also pretty rational. I speak my mind and I also love to learn new things. |

I like that I like who I am, that I'm comfortable in my own skin, that I no longer feel the need to try to be liked by everyone... Thus appreciating more, those who do like me |

I'm highly intelligent, fit, remarkably handsome, i have a smoking hot wife, wonderful children, I'm remarkably handsome, and above average everywhere that counts. Oh and I'm almost as modest as remarkably handsome. |

There is nothing I like about me, but neither is there anything I dislike about me. I just accept that I am me |

"Um, I think I'm quite funny.
Others may not agree
Would that be funny ha ha or funny peculiar? "
I'd say funny ha ha but I have a feeling a lot would say the other |

On days when I've had enough and think my life is shit, I stop myself and remind myself that I am the twin who was born first. I'm the one who didn't have her brain killed by lack of oxygen. I'm the one who had a life and is still alive. I haven't done much to feel good about but I'm alive and that makes me feel good and very grateful. |

I wasn't keen on me until I admitted my own sexuality and gender conflict to myself and then openly admitted them to the world.
Now; I think I'm quite nice |

Realising we are mortal with weaknesses and strengths and importantly appreciating every conscious moment of being alive knowing it can be snatched from you tragically like those poor people in France and many other tragic circumstances so therefore never take nothing for granted |

I like to think I'm a good, honest guy. In fact I pride myself on it. Being a twat just isn't in my nature. Life's too short. I'm very loyal with people who don't take me for a fool. I've endured things that would have killed many a man. This has made me very strong, resilient and unwilling to suffer fools gladly. I like to learn. Knowledge is power. Sure, I have my failings but I'm positive about the future for the first time in my life. |
