Magic shaving powder

Of all the hair removal methods I've tried, this seems to be the best in terms of smoothness and lack of rash / itchy bits during regrowth - so in that respect it's great.

I have one issue though. It#s a pain in the arse to use! (No, i'm not putting it up my arse!) I find it nigh on impossible to mix into a paste. I'm following the instructions to the letter and I'm still ending up with powder floating on water.

Any tips people?

I just couldn't get on with it at all. Went back to a mix of waxing and epilating.

I use a plastic bowl, plastic spoon and mix small amounts of water in at a time as it absorbs the water add more until you get a smooth paste.

I know others on here use an empty jar and shake like crazy

Hope that helps

Bang on. I use a plastic cup and spoon and add small amounts of water until it's right.

The only thing I don't like about it is the smell.

I use the jar method to begin with and resort to a spoon once the water and powder begin to combine.

We use almond or coconut oil - they give a really smooth finish (see pics) but not heard about magic powder except on fab forums

Okay,

It is a powder you place in a bowel and add a small it of water to make a paste mix it well and apply straight to the area that you want the hair to be removed you wait for around 5-7 mins or perhaps even less and then you wash off hopefully removing the hair

Rub the oil in well - in the bath or shower - and shave normally with a sharp razor. We have never had problems with a rash doing it this way.

I stole this method after reading these two talk about it in the forums. I love it. Works great

The cream? Have I not looked at the website properly?

Just Google to find it.

Shaving always gives me stubble rash in the following days. Can't stand it.

Will have to try the shaking method!

When mixing powders add a few drops of water mix in throughly few more drops etc til you get a paste

If you add the star rat once what happens is wet powder forms a skin around the dry and it goes all lumpy.

Same when making gravy

Just buy magic powder in the pre mixed cream format. Readily available on Amazon and eBay and much more convenient.
