Hello all,we both fully understand the "won't meet smokers" bit on peoples profiles,we we're just wondering if there is anything that really works to illuminate the smell/taste (other than giving up),oral sprays? Mints? Perhaps |

I can smell it in hair, on skin and to a certain extent in skin secretions. Mints aint going to hide that!
It also alters the taste of your bodily fluids. |

As a non smoker I can detect it in many ways no Matter how the persons attempted to disguise it, I can even detect a vaper, they have a distinct taste to a non smoker too.
As my profile says, I have no trouble meeting smokers as long as they are honest about it and respectful of the fact that I don't whilst in my company |

unfortunatly not really. We tried all sorts of things to try to cover it up at school; strong toothpaste, extra strong mints, deoderant, aftershave. Darn smell got through the lot. |

Don't worry about it...We've met quite a few 'non smokers' who were quite happy to light up in our company. Usually using the same excuse as straight men who are bi..."It puts people off meeting us" Everyone should grow a pair and tell the truth!!! |

I don't meet smokers brigade do my head in , crime off the century grow up ! I don't smoke apart from the odd joint when in the dam , but who gives a shit when you are having a good time sex ect with nice people , Nice to light up after to catch yeh breath  |

I meet everyone if we're matched overall. I've met nonsmokers who've popped outside for a fag and I'd not known they did smoke.
Is Febreze any good?
I think you should target your meets and get to know people on socials who can appreciate you for the bigger picture, not just a label.
Find bodies of water near to meets for skinny dipping - plenty will join your lovely selves for fun, not caring about a fag. |

I stopped smoking and went on a ecig a few weeks back. Honestly I can't describe just how bad smokers smell.
I doubt you will be able to get rid if the smell unless you really dint smoke for hours and put on new clothes shower brush teeth etc.
I can smell smoke on me after sitting in a smokers house even if they don't smoke in the house.
I would meet smokers though as I would feel a bit of a hypocrite not meeting them even although I smoked for years xx |

For me, I only smoke outside, never inside so it smelling on my clean clothes is never an issue (at least I don't think it is), I've tried smoking indoors on a meet once and it felt so wrong, I've only ever smoked outside! |

I give a shit. Some smokers smell horrible,so bad sometimes that I heave. Some have badly stained teeth and fingers that isn't particularly attractive. I don't want to meet heavy smokers because they will find it difficult to go without a cigarette and it will spoil it for them. I've met men who smoke but can go without for a few hours and didn't smell or taste of it. Id I put will meet smokers I will be contacted by people who may want to smoke around me. I don't want to be coughing and heaving and feeling ill from somebody else's cigarette smoke or feel sick when we kiss because it tastes vile. Telling people to grow up because they don't want to be around toxic smoke isn't very mature is it. |

I smoke. I'm honest about it. It hasn't stopped my fun and I always try not to stink of an ashtray. I won't smoke around someone who doesn't like it.
It's all about respect and choice. If you don't like it I respect your choice but ask that you respect mine. |

Full body condoms are the only way forward. The trouble is the life expectancy while wearing one is about 240 seconds, less if you are engaged in physical activity.....
Which for me wouldn't be a problem at all as I'd have a good 193 seconds to spare...... But I don't smoke. |

It will make your clean clothes smell just not as bad. I had to clean everything in my wardrobe a few times after smoking to get rid of the smell. Even clothes that I rarely wear. I honestly can't belive how bad the smell is but it's maybe because I did smoke fir 15 years and I'm sensitive to it now. But again I wouldn't let it put me off a meet with someone xxx |

Non smokers confuse me, they rant they wont meet smokers
then start chatting to me in the smokers area of a club, where I'm often hanging as a great social area cooling down, then there snog my face off amongst other things in a room.i find there fab profile and hey presto 'will not meet smokers'

You say you are missing out on potential meets , but have you considered that you may also be missing out on potential meets as non smokers too ?
We don't feel we are missing out on meets by being smokers . We would definately choose to meet a smoker over a non smoker if all other criteria were the same .
Every now and then we meet non smokers ( we are nice like that ) and it's all good as long as it's not too long |

I agree I feel the same about people who smoke joints
Though I'm not a heavy smoker I do smoke, I only really smoke when I've had a drink, if I didn't go out for 3 months I wouldn't have a fag for 3 months but I like a fag or three with a drink so I put I'm a smoker because if I meet the chances are we will have a drink so I will have a fag, if people choose not to meet me for smoking I have no problem with that because I would never meet anybody who smoked joints because the smell is bloody horrible so I understand where none smokers are coming from |

True.
I found it easy to give up drinking, but smoking on the other hand really hard except when i was pregnant, and i always regretted started smoking after a stopped breastfeeding but i still started again. |
