Weird 1 but I am weird.

Does any1 drive and petrified of motorways and tunnels. Me personally can't bring myself to do any an spoils it for me as I'd love to drive to clubs on my own just this stopping me.

Just wondered if it's just me or are there others out there.

Horsham

I had a mate refused to drive through the Mersey tunnel, as she might drown if the roof cracked.

Woodthorpe

Just do it. I used to hate driving a long way but did it once and survived and now there's no stopping me. Be brave

I hate driving on massive bridges, they scare the life out of me, I will take the Blackwall tunnel to avoid the Dartford bridge!

Most of my driving is on motorways other than just pottering around.

Typhoon induction kit & straight pipe exhaust....going through a tunnel is like a chorus of angels singing

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I'm not a fan of driving in the dark when it's raining, but it doesn't stop me doing it.

I have a convertible , with cold air induction kit, sports exhaust . It has variable valve timing , when it's hits 42500 revs screams all the way to 8000

You can't beat summers evening roof down on the B roads . I tell the Mrs off for putting the radio on

Unless you have done this you won't appreciate it

Keep at it. Think of it like doing anal. It's uncomfortable at first, but gets easier with practice ...

It's usually women motorcyclists that are worried by dual carriage ways and m ways .

There is no hard and fast rule. But my advice is early Sunday mornings

Or if you can get away xmas day. Morning

Start at 40 on slip road, 50 entering mway

Keep speed for 5 miles then increase by 5 every 5 miles ,

Keep in near side lane until your confident to move out ,

When changing lane , put indicator on , keep checking mirrors move to the right hand side of your lane and change lane when safe

It's simple

It's actually safer driving on a motorway than it is driving in towns

You aren't actuall taught motorway driving in test .

You may need a few lessons , you must have an instructor that you used to pass test with.

Evenings and nights is not the best times owing to lorries , which is probably the thing your worried about.

Sunday morning say 7 am or xmas day morning is the best times

I would suggest seeing your old instructor . I always used to give a motorway lesson after passing the test doesn't take long to get the hang of it

Back where I belong

I used to hate joining the motorway, alright once on, but terrified me joining. Its now a thing of the past, doesn't bother me at all.
