Love that word. Confuzzled.
Anyway, digressions aside.
So, I was on fab the other day, and I looked at my updates for photos being fabbed, and I saw a couple, no big deal. A few hours later, I saw a wink from them, so, being the nosey git I am, decided to perve their profile and have a read. They're quite a way away, but they intrigued me, so I messaged them stating I was interested and distance an issue, but I'd like to eventually meet them at some point. Today I logged in to see a friend request from them, but no message. Recently my messages have been playing up, but I've not done anything about that yet as my messages do seem to come through eventually.
My question is this, do I:
A. Accept the friend request now? Or
B. Wait to see if a message comes through? |

They may just want to see clear face pics first ?
Or have a busy time and want to converse later ...
I would accept it and drop them if nothing happens in a week or so |

I know you're not concerned with how people perceive you, but could it potentially be conceived as rude, if I were to accept, only to unfriend at some point in the future? |

Lots of people wink and when you wink back no messages come back happens a lot . Some just want to perv at private pics so send random friends request . If there is no conversation don't accept , unless it's from us lol |

Ah, I did not wink back, I openly messaged. I can see what you're saying about wanting to perve private pics though. I hadn't thought of that, I'll have to look at their profile again to decide what to do with that information |

Usually I don't accept friend requests until I've met someone as I perceive friends lists to be another form of verification, although I have made exceptions for a couple of people, but I tend to wait until conversation has reached a point where I'm sufficiently convinced of authenticity. Regardless of potential friends only photos |

Can people see photos they've sent?
I am dreadful and don't send photos really, even if it's requested on a profile. I just don't remember lol, but I can't remember if I sent one or not |

Did you send them a face pic? If they don't respond to your message, don't sweat it and move on.
Unless I know someone, winks ignored, friend requests in the bin. It's only through messages that I can be bothered.

I don't know, I have sent a message with a picture to _rightonsteve, but it doesn't appear in my sent box 
I'm not usually bothered, but then, it's not usual that I send a message to someone for it to be responded with a friend request |

I still haven't sent friend requests to people I've met despite getting along quite well. I'm terrible sometimes, especially if I don't get right on it |

My mind is indeed elsewhere and therefore full thinking has not been devoted to the subject, that plus it's potentially something that could crop up again. Anyway, I think if I was gonna accept the request, I'd have done so instantly, I haven't, therefore, I'm not going to  problem solved.

Nah, I have no proof and it states 22 hours when it does appear, so I have no way of preempting whether a message will be missing or not, so it will not look good contacting admin because I haven't got a message from someone. It's a good thought, but I'm not really bothered, if I am in their area at any point, or am looking for that type of meet, I'll message them again |

up to you - you could add them whist they were offline and peep at pics see if you like or not - then decide whether to carry on or not - or - send a message saying you like to chat and get to know a bit before accepting invite - |
