If i have it then its usually without. I don't drink at home and not many bars do it over the sugar cube. Think there is only one bar where i had it poured over a sugar cube. |

I think it's much alteted from those days when it contained a substance now known to be poison! Remember reading something about that. |

One of the worst quid and a cig bets I ever had involved absinthe. The bet was to do the triple with it, eye bath, snort it and light the glass to smoke the fumes. I wouldn't recommend or try it again but everyone else found it amusing as my eye felt like it was about to pop, the back of my head felt like a train had just ran into it and my lungs were trying to turn themselves inside out. On the bright side I did win the quid and a cig  |
