Maybe because they are unsure of the site, or people, or if its for them. Maybe they dont know about blocking filters and get a lot of unwanted attention and get freaked out. Maybe they use fab alongside dating sites so dont need it all the time.

Or maybe they are just hiding it from their partners...

Forgotten username and password, banned, prostitution, could be any number of reasons. Getting pissed and joining with Dutch courage seems common.
