V for Vendetta was a terrible film, it's a sham of a farce of a mockery of the graphic novel.

Cool - the scene where Fitch goes to Larkhill and takes acid in an effort to get inside the mind of V is staggering. And never made it tot he film for some odd reason...

Because it was a largely unbelievable scene in a story that already pushed the suspension of disbelief quite hard.

In film format it just would have been silly

And besides, he writes graphic novels - not works of historical fiction.

Not really certain things work better in print than film.

When characters make just retarded desicions because it works for the art it doesn't translate well to gilm.

Borders I can cope with. Changing money and being ripped off in exchange rates I hated.

I can't see the Germans borders stopping British cars though.

Yup but as I'm not an immigrant (technically) or a terrorist. I only have the issue of driving over in a British car

It is ironic the Moore, arguably the finest graphic novelist of his generation, has had his name taken off the following adaptations:

* From Hell

* V for Vendetta

* League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

* Watchmen

It's almost like he's trying to say something...
