Abigail?? Only in the far north isn't it? Mainly in the islands. I think a lot of this is misleading reporting, will be the same lot that predict 100 days of snow and all that shite. Windy in Shetland is hardly rare |

Hmmm beautiful sunny morning here, calm and serene with high whispy cloud... Are you sure before I get the horses out the top field and chivvy the cats into the hurricane cellar? |

After Abagail there's Kate lurking back in the Atlantic...Looking at the GEFS November looks rather wet, I wouldn't be surprised to see flo_ding becoming widespread |

"Bring it on, let's see if I can beat 40 mph cycling along Brighton sea front." .
I think they've given out 50-60mph gusts for new Brighton..
Don't think Brighton will see anything like that though |

"Hmmm... should I have worn a coat today then? " depends on whether it's a full length trench coat with little on underneath!
Then I'd say yes.. You need one |

Here in North Wales, it started with a very heavy hailstorm at 6am this morning, and the peaks are already dusted with snow...
It's been alternating sun and gales all day - and we're promised the heavy stuff tonight - straight in off the Atlantic..!
Might be the wrong night to go dogging......
